The Spirited Snow Leopard

This lesson was first published as part of Watercolour Wildlife 2023 and is now available as a stand alone class! Come join me, Tam to create a beautiful snow leopard in expressive watercolour paints!

In this lesson, we will be creating a beautiful snow leopard! Snow leopards are breathtaking creatures that embody elegance, grace, and an air of mystery. With their majestic presence and striking beauty, they effortlessly captivate our attention. We will use expressive and loose brushstrokes to create a dynamic and expressive painting that captures the snow leopard’s unique character and spirit. Through various techniques such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, etching and layering, we will infuse our artwork with depth, texture, and a touch of intrigue.

Additionally, we’ll incorporate abstract elements and doodles to infuse our paintings with a sense of playfulness and spontaneity. I hope that this lesson encourages you to embrace experimentation and play.
